Kathrine Wandall is an award-winning Danish film, tv and games composer, based in London. Her sound is shaped by her experimentation with synthesizers and symphonic orchestras, merging contemporary techniques and innovative soundscapes.
Recently, Wandall served as an additional composer collaborating with composer Nicolas Snyder for the Emmy-nominated Adult Swim series Common Side Effects, premiering in February 2025.
In 2025, Wandall released the score for Høsten (Jakob Korsholm Borum, 2025), a symphonic thriller that delves into the complexities of human relationships, blending tension and emotion through an experimental orchestral soundscape. She has also made the score for films such as The Last Great Ping Pong Parlour (Jake Kuhn), Backseat (Anne-Sofie Lindgaard, 2024), El Aquelarre (Jorge C. Benítez, 2023), Meetings Of Love (Jakob Korsholm Borum, 2023), Please mig, please (Amanda Phillipsen, 2022), Wake Up With Denmark (Joseph Valentino Palau, 2022), and Taber (Jakob Korsholm Borum, 2022).
Kathrine graduated with a first-class BA (Hons) degree in Film Composition from Leeds Conservatoire in 2023. She went on to study a Masters in Composition for Film and Television at the National Film & Television School.
